QVIS is a funding initiative dedicated to advancing transformational research in glaucoma neuroprotection and vision restoration, made possible by the John & Daria Barry Foundation. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you contact us, we collect only the information you choose to give us. If you fill out the contact form, we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• The topic you select and the message you write

If you ask to be notified when funding applications open, we collect your email address for that single purpose, and use it only to send you that notification.

For submissions through our forms, we do not store your IP address, and we do not use advertising cookies on this site.

Information collected automatically (analytics)

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. When you visit, Google Analytics sets cookies and collects limited technical and usage information — such as the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, and your device, browser, and approximate (city-level) location. We use this data only in aggregate to measure traffic and usage patterns; we do not use it to identify you personally.

Google processes this information on our behalf as described in its own privacy and cookie policies. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by declining analytics cookies where offered, using your browser's cookie controls, or installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

How we use your information

We use the details you submit solely to read and respond to your enquiry and to follow up with you about it. We do not use your information for marketing unless you have separately and explicitly asked us to.

How your information is stored

Contact form submissions are stored securely on our server and emailed to our team so we can respond. Access is limited to people who need it to handle your enquiry. We keep submissions only as long as needed to respond and maintain a reasonable record of our correspondence, after which they are deleted.

Sharing your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except where necessary to operate this website (for example, our email, hosting, and analytics providers) or where required by law.

Third-party services

This site uses Google Analytics for usage measurement (described above) and loads typefaces from Google Fonts. In both cases your browser communicates with Google, which may receive your IP address and set or read cookies as part of the request. We do not control Google's processing; you can review its practices in Google's privacy policy.

Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have submitted. To make a request, email info@qvis.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
